Yamal LNG – one of the largest and most complex facilities in the world in construction! This is an integrated project for the production, liquefaction and supply of natural gas, implemented on the Yamal Peninsula beyond the Arctic Circle on the basis of the South Tambeyskoye field. The project involved the construction of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant with a capacity of about 16.5 million tons per year. As part of the project, a transport infrastructure was also created, including a seaport and Sabetta Airport.
Our company STI was honored to participate as a contractor at an object of this scale. STI carried out installation work on ventilation at the compressor station. The main specifics of the work was the installation of almost 100 tons of stainless steel duct 3 mm thick. Unique professional experience allows our engineers to perform work on objects of any complexity.
