On September 9, in the Skopinsky district, the start of construction of a residential complex of the company “OCTAFARMA-FARMIMEX” was presented.
For workers of the future enterprise for the production of drugs based on human blood plasma, cottages with all the amenities of the “Townhouse” class for 72 families will be erected.
In addition to cottages, a hotel with 20 apartments will be built here, areas for recreation and sports, a swimming pool and a playground will be arranged. On the territory of the residential complex there will be a SPA-complex and a restaurant.
Andrew Douglas Smith, CEO of the company, spoke about the details of this project: «We build this world-class residential complex, taking care of our most valuable asset – our employees. It is important that when they come here, they do not care about household trifles and focus on fulfilling their duties. I hope that Skopin will become a second home for many of them».
STI President Srdjan Petrovic said: «The highest level specialists from Europe and Russia with their families will settle here. The town will be completely autonomous: there is a boiler house and a transformer substation in the technical zone. We will be connected to the city water supply and electricity, the gas route will pass nearby».
He also drew attention to the fact that the project will be fully adapted to the Russian harsh winters: «We have been engaged in construction in Russia for a very long time. In addition to the boiler room, each block of cottages will have its own heating point. And since the project is designed for a long time of operation, we will pay special attention to the insulation of the roof and foundations, which will be calculated for at least the next 40 years».
