The new terminal of Yelizovo Airport in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky received its first flight today.
Yelizovo Airport is the only one in the region capable of receiving large aircraft. The capacity of the new terminal is more than a thousand passengers per hour. The panoramic windows overlook the Avacha and Koryak volcanoes. And the building itself is shaped like a crater.
By the autumn of this year, a hotel and a congress center will be operational on the territory of the air harbor. And later, international flights are planned to be launched from the new terminal.
